Cleve Andre Jacobs Jr. is a senior at San Diego School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA). He has enjoyed his participation in several genres of the arts both on campus and outside of school including stage productions, video creations, writing short feature film stories and music (playing the viola). He is the CEO and founder of B.S. Company Inc. with its 3 sub-ventures: Brilliant Son Services which gives young people opportunities for addressing the needs of people in our community, Big Skate Company which showcases talented neighborhood skaters while showing off his original t-shirt designs and Big Spin Productions- his career goal of marrying all genres of the arts to create Entertainment for Everyone.

"The OPEN GATE Program gave me the support and encouragement to be different, to challenge myself and helped me to catapult my quest for knowledge. What I remember most is no matter how different my classmates were, we were ALL family. In the three years we had together, I developed the confidence I needed to take risks and not limit myself. With the support of the college student mentors, failure was not an option for me. I will always celebrate having had that experience!"
