About Alexis

I have many academic strengths and interests.  Math is one of my strengths.  Right now, my class is learning about integers, and I find it really easy.  I know how to add and subtract positive and negative numbers, and when my class mates need help, I help them.  I get good grades on all my math tests, and I like algebra because it’s fun and challenging. 

I have a lot of academic interests, but my favorite class is music.  I play the cello, and I love the deep sound of it.  Last week I played a concert at the recital hall in Balboa Park. Music is probably my best talent.  This year, I will play my cello at four different holiday concerts. I also sing in my church choir on Sundays.

Besides being a good musician, I am also an excellent swimmer.  I swim at the Kroc Center mostly during the summer but sometimes in other seasons too.  I think swimming is the best way to have fun and exercise at the same time.
